Fall gets busy as we head into the holidays and encounter a number of important financial deadlines, including:
- October 15th: Medicare Advantage and drug plan open enrollment opens.
- October 15th: 2023 individual tax returns are due for those that extended the deadline.
- November 1st: 2025 health insurance open enrollment begins.
- December 7th: Medicare Advantage and drug plan open enrollment closes.
- December 31st: Last day to: Establish Keogh, solo 401(k); Make contributions to 401(k); Sell stock to realize gains/losses; Take RMDs; Pay expenses for itemized deductions; Make tax-deductible charitable contributions; Make annual tax-free gifts.
Markets will be closed:
- November 28th: Thanksgiving Day
- December 25th: Christmas Day
